Glucono-delta-lactone is a neutral cyclic ester of gluconic acid produced with the acid by fermentation of glucose. It is separated from the acid by crystallisation and use to the adjust pH. GDL is soluble in water, practically odourless and has a slightly sweet taste. It is Non-toxic, GDL is completely metabolised in the body like a carbohydrate.

I got this product to apply it on my face. As the weather started to change in the Midwest part of the country I like to keep it handy when going outdoors and doing hiking. It feels really great on my skin and the aroma is quite refreshing. Great option also when traveling as I like to only bring the absolute necessary.
