Our popular White Pine Extract is a highly concentrated tincture made with ORGANIC alcohol and wildcrafted pine needles from the Pinus Strobus specie commonly named Eastern White Pine. White pine needle medicine has been traditionally used to support the respiratory system promoting bronchial wellness and boosting the body's natural defense.
The directions are on the bottle’s label. Take 30 drops (1 dropperful) twice a day. Notice that the dropper may not get completely full after squeezing it, this is normal. 1 dropperful is approximately 1 mL. For best results, dilute this product in water first and place under your tongue for 1 min and then swallow. You can also add it to a cup of tea or drink it with water.
This extract contains Shikimic Acid (Suramin) along with a full spectrum of white pine needle constituents; Vitamin C, pigments, and various terpenes in higher concentrations than in traditional tinctures. This is because we apply a particular combination of thermal, mechanical, and ultrasonic treatment in addition to the traditional maceration method to achieve a higher concentration.
We harvest our pine needle material from Massachusetts' forests away from roads to avoid pollution. Since pine needles dry out quickly, we process them the same day. Alcohol Extracts are the best way to preserve key pine needle components fresh for years without losing potency.
The difference between this white pine extract and our elixir version is that this extract is more concentrated. However, both are more concentrated than the traditional extracts and have a strong, natural piney flavor but the elixir is glycerite sweet and preserves much better the delicious piney flavor of the needles.
